The color of an opaque object depends on the wavelengths of the light, and every object that is opaque absorbs some type of wavelengths of light and reflect others. The color of the opaque object is the color of light that it reflects. For example a fire truck is red and it is opaque, and it is red because it reflects a red wavelengths.
