Effects of Mixing Colored Pigments
Dyes, inks, and paints contain pigments, or colored substances that are used to color other objects. The color you see is a result of color that a special pigment reflects. Mixing light colors are much different then mixing pigment colors, as pigments are add less colors reflect and more are absorbed, and when the three primary colors of pigments are created they produce black.
